Memorial Day Weekend May 31, 2007

Last weekend we went to Destin with some of our college friends and we had a blast!  It was so fun to see all of them, it felt like being back in college  Getting away with out the kids was really nice.  Our condo had a pool right by the beach so we worked on our tan there.  When we weren’t at the beach we played Chad’s Nintendo Wii which is the most awesome video game ever and I’m ready to buy one.  I got pretty good at bowling and tennis, it was quite a good workout.  We also played the Newly Wed game and guess who lost??  WE DID!!!  We were the ones married the longest and we lost.  I’m pretty sure it was because Brad decided to just goof off the whole time.  The guys also played cards and the girls talked a lot.  It was just a great weekend!  If you haven’t been to Destin, you need to go.  I couldn’t believe we were on the gulf coast because of the white sands and clear blue water.  It is now one of our favorite places in Florida. 

The kids stayed at home with my parents (Grammie and Gramps).  They had more fun with them than they would’ve if we were home.  They went to the pool every day and out to my parents lake.  Carter fished, played with the remote control boat and went on a canoe ride.  Cammie had fun swimming and watching Carter go wild.  Grammie and Gramps are probably still resting from a tiring weekend.  Gramps couldn’t believe that I do it every day.  I guess it’s good you have babies when your young!

Cam has become quite the pro at crawling.  I can’t keep up with her!  This is a video of her crawling and saying “dada”.   Brad is so proud!  Not to brag but she’s been saying “mama” for quite a while now!

All in all it was a great weekend for the whole Jones family.  It’s good to be home and all together.  Hope you all had a great weekend too!

Well, I finally decided to do the whole blog thing.  A lot of my friends have one and it’s fun to keep up with them.  So, I guess I will try to post every now and then.  I don’t like to write so it will be mainly about pictures. 

Brad and I are going to Destin this weekend.  Some of our friends from Harding are getting together.  It’s mostly all of Brad’s friends and their wives.  I’m really looking forward to seeing one of my bestfriends, Jaren.  It will be a fun time to remember the good ole days!  We are really looking forward to getting away!

Carter and Cammie are doing great.  They are really having fun together.  Cammie is finally crawling!!  It took her a while but she’s so proud of herself.  She has also started pulling up on things.  I’m not really excited about all of this because I have to really watch her.  She is getting into everything!!  Carter is really looking forward to his birthday party.  We are having a party at Pump It Up and about 15 of his friends are coming.  It’s going to be a big day!!  I can’t believe he will be three.  It’s gone by way too fast!
